My name is Skyler Van Gorkum, and I'm a Nation-wide destination, elopement, wedding, and couples photographer based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a wedding photographer. Once upon a time, I had pictured myself in the music and entertainment industry, and I even was the lead singer in my own band for a few years! However, life has a funny way of giving, and it led me right to my biggest passion, Photographing love!

Lucky enough, I discovered wedding photography as soon as I began taking pictures, I photographed everyone I came across every. single. day. for an entire year, just to make sure my art never stopped improving! In that year, i knew I had found my calling, and there’s nothing better than waking up every day knowing you have the best job in the world!
